Students

visit Kramski GmbH

On May 24, 2023, we were allowed to give the students of Pforzheim University an insight into the work and some processes at KRAMSKI.

The reason for the visit was an offer from the WSP (Wirtschaft und Stadtmarketing Pforzheim) university service, which regularly organizes company visits to Pforzheim and thus promotes direct exchange between regional companies, teaching staff and students.

For more than 40 years, KRAMSKI has relied on its own continuous training of qualified and motivated specialists, offering a wide range of prospects and entry opportunities for students, in all areas of the company. We currently employ over 300 people at our site in Pforzheim. In accordance with the motto “PERFECTION NEEDS PERFECTION”, KRAMSKI stands for the highest quality standards on the one hand, but on the other hand also knows about an important success factor: the human factor.

Marcel Pinnschmidt, Head of Human Resources at KRAMSKI: “Contact and exchange with students and pupils is very important to us, because this is the only way for them to get a realistic impression of what they can expect in the context of an apprenticeship, as a working student, bachelor student, or even as a career starter with us after graduation.”

The students were also welcomed on Wednesday afternoon by Patrick Ehrmann (Head of Production) and Martin Schaudt (Head of Manufacturing / Toolmaking), who gave the visitors a tour of the production halls.

Students of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and management, production technology and international marketing were given an exciting insight into the company. Above all, however, the company visit also meant a practical benefit with regard to the future of the students who are interested in practical semesters and working student jobs or are looking for projects and topics for their final thesis.

The conclusion was consistently positive: We were impressed by the interest & the targeted questions of the guests – the students about the related answers and above all the practical insights. The direct 1-to-1 exchange with the employees on site rounded off the visit. Win-win, as they say in “New German”.
