Picture a company that employs only 40 people and decides to open a production site in Sri Lanka in the middle of a recession. Well, that was us in 1993. Nowadays we employ around 700 people at four locations, on three continents, each with their own independent construction and development departments as well as their own tool and mould making. This is how we guarantee our certified KRAMSKI quality worldwide.

Who could have guessed on 16th October 1978 what an expansive development would lie ahead? What started out as a small family business has steadily developed into an international leader in technology with over 300 employees at our location in the “Gold City Pforzheim” today.
The will and ability to strive for the perfect solution for each of our customers continues to drive us. Our dynamically open and honest character allows us to find the right people and to be successful together. It is this mixture of perfection and personality that we have lived, nurtured and exported to our worldwide locations for over 45 years. It shapes our past and gives us lots of confidence for the future!

Our German location is also the headquarters of the KRAMSKI group. With the construction of an adjoining logistics centre, the opening of our KRAMSKI Technology Centre and the establishment of a tool and equipment shop with state-of-the-art machinery, the company is firmly rooted in the “stamping location” Pforzheim.

As a company with only 40 employees, we decided to open a new location in 1993 amid a recession – the first step towards the international establishment of our business activities. Not in Germany, not even in Europe, but in Sri Lanka, which was plagued by a civil war at the time. Not a small sales office, but a real production facility. Why? Because we were convinced of the opportunities and the people.

More than 25 years later, we can look back on a production site that has won several awards and is also the only company in Sri Lanka that is allowed to issue state-recognised journeyman’s certificates! High-precision tools, hybrid parts and assemblies are manufactured on an area of 6,700 sqm. A great story that inspires us to remain courageous, to recognise perspectives and to invest in people!

Our production site in the USA was founded in 2002. Under the management of Martin Bischoff, the Managing Director of KRAMSKI North America, we now produce a broad range of highly demanding stamped and hybrid parts on an area of almost 5,000 sqm. The diversified customer portfolio includes companies from various industries such as automotive, medicine and telecommunications.

KRAMSKI IndiA

In 2008, we founded KRAMSKI India, the youngest of our four locations, and have thus remained true to our long-term internationalisation strategy: We want to be where our customers are. Quickly, an important location for our group of companies has evolved here.

With over 2,000 sqm of production space at the site, we are able to support our customers in opening up new markets in this fast-growing region. We are enthusiastic about the progress of the past years and fascinated by the opportunities that this location holds for the entire KRAMSKI GROUP!

2023 a milestone!

111 years of KRAMSKI

With the triple anniversary in 2018, three of our four worldwide production sites celebrated milestone anniversaries. 40 years in Germany. 25 years in Sri Lanka. 10 years in India.

Our company-wide quadruple anniversary will follow in 2023. Our headquarters in Germany has now existed for 45 years. We are celebrating 30 years at our Sri Lanka location. In India 15 years and in the USA 21 years of company history. That’s a total of 111 years full of courage, new beginnings and successful teamwork that transcends all borders!
