Together with our customers, we can therefore work right from the start to design products in a way that is best suited for manufacturing and optimize all processes along the value chain. Through this approach, we can optimally implement all functional (customer) requirements and ensure that the products are manufactured to a high level of quality. Our development team is associated with a broad spectrum of institutes, universities, and working groups.
Our project managers are the central point of organization for any given customer project. The team remains in close contact with the customer and all the divisions involved at every step: from the beginning of the project and the detailed planning phase through to the actual implementation of the project with parallel monitoring and optimization of the product-specific tools and systems, and ultimately the conclusion of the project with ensuing series start-up. Altogether, this ensures that processes run smoothly.
Equipped with the latest 3D CAD workplaces, our design team has specific divisions dedicated to stamping tools, injection-molding tools, and our system and device construction operations. Our experts ensure that customer products and assemblies are designed in a way that makes them suitable for manufacturing, and take responsibility for designing the tools required for this in the manufacturing processes. This allows our designers to develop customer-oriented and efficient solutions for complex challenges.
Process development &
As part of the process development for stamping and injection molding, FEM simulation tools are also utilized at an early stage for tool and product design. In addition, the planned production concept for the product is verified and refined in detail at the beginning of the project. The requirements for production equipment or complete production lines are translated into requirements specifications through our process technology. Following the construction and commissioning of the equipment, our process technology division assumes responsibility for the definition of process parameters and validation of all value-creating individual processes.
advanced quality planning
As part of the initial planning and coordination, we focus on high and consistent product quality. The basis for this is the definition of essential dimensional and functional tests during series production. This advance quality planning for prototypes, pre-series and series is carried out in accordance with customer requirements, including the creation of FMEAs and test planning in the CAQ system. Sampling can also be carried out according to PPAP, PPF or customer specific procedures - on request also via electronic data exchange. Wherever possible, all production steps are monitored directly and mostly automated in-line.
Striving for uncompromising quality and perfection is what drives us - ensuring consistently high product quality is our aim. For this purpose, we rely on the statistical process control of product and process characteristics in series production. Preventive maintenance and repair measures on tools and systems complement our continuous improvement processes. A wide range of measuring equipment of the highest precision, in-house developments for quality testing of supplied parts and state-of-the-art camera technology in the production lines integrate quality assurance in every phase of a customer project.
