Basis
The mechanical engineering for production technology degree program deals with organizing and coordinating processes, developing processes based on other processes, and further developing and applying technology. This optimally prepares you for the future as you will be working in the very field where mechanics, digitalization, and management interact.
Focus areas
In addition to course content at the DHBW, you will receive direct insights into our company operations.
The focus is on the production technology field of studies. You will gain in-depth knowledge on the planning & manufacturing of workpieces, assembly groups, machines, and production plants.
Additional areas
- CAD application, parts construction, equipment construction/toolmaking
- Fundamentals of electrical engineering, precision dimensional metrology, specific measurement technologies
- Control & automation technology, various programming systems
- Engineering work, involvement in projects, as well as preparation of project tests and Bachelor’s thesis
