Leadframes

Power rails / busbars

Power rails are electrical conductors that can be used as an alternative to conventional cables and have a wide of a variety of applications. We usually manufacture them from copper, aluminum, and aluminum alloys with various sheet thicknesses. The flat, rigid power rails can conduct more electricity compared to cables with the same cross-section – which is a benefit in the context of e-mobility and renewable energies. Our power rail production process comprises highly precise stamping and extremely complex bending processes. Depending on the customer’s requirements, we integrate galvanized and pre-molded strips. Our strength lies in efficiently realizing various different geometries and a large number of variants.

Leadframes / power modules

As stabilizing, conductive components, our lead frames are a core element of semi-conductors in the automotive industry, in power electronics and in renewable energies. Our components enable efficient and reliable power supply, regulation and stabilization of various devices and systems. In the production of power modules, we rely on our integrated, automated process for maximum precision, which was specially developed for these products. The initial stamping of the components is followed by an automated cleaning process. Depending on the product requirements, additional production steps such as bending and plastic overmolding may be implemented. The combination of different material properties by riveting/embossing/welding/joining as well as the processing of selectively galvanized strips are standard processes for us. Our automated 100% quality inspection in combination with automated packaging processes ensure optimum cleanliness and surface quality for further processing steps such as wire bonding, molding and gluing.
