Overview
Basic metal course
At the start of your training, you will undergo the basic metal course and learn various machining techniques.
- Manual activities: filing, sawing, marking, hardening, tool mounting
- Machine technology on conventional, manually controlled drilling, turning, milling & grinding machines
Training specializations
In the third year of training, you can choose between the following specializations and you then work in the respective specialist area:
- Tool construction: production, testing, maintenance, and repair of punching tools
- Machine construction: commissioning, maintenance, and repair of production machines
