The Pforzheim CongressCentrum (CCP) will be very busy on April 11, 2024. The “Beruf Aktuell” training and study fair organized by the Nagold-Pforzheim Employment Agency is a tradition – but the date during the week is new. In addition to around 150 companies from the region, KRAMSKI also presents itself as a training company at the largest training fair in the region.

It doesn’t take long for all three halls in the CCP to fill up and for the young people to line up from one stand to the next. As soon as you entered the CCP, you could feel the enthusiasm and interest of the young talents looking for the right training company. With the large number of exhibitors, the fair offered a unique opportunity to get to know the variety of vocational, school and academic training opportunities.

For many years, “Beruf Aktuell” has been a proven platform for making contacts and highlighting the value of vocational training. But for us at KRAMSKI, this event was about more than just advertising apprenticeships: We wanted to present our company as an attractive training company and make it easier for young people to start discussions.

At our stand, we focused primarily on personal interaction between peers and some of our current trainees. Our experts from the HR department and our technical trainer, Markus Zahn, were also on hand to provide support. “The eye-to-eye contact with our trainees gives interested young people a realistic insight into our training programs,” says Zahn, describing the importance of this direct exchange. There was a special highlight at our stand: a “grabber” filled with cuddly toys built by a former apprentice, which visitors could use to fish for their present – this ensured fun and attention at the stand.

The response from visitors was particularly pleasing: not only were we able to make promising contacts, we were also able to convince parents, grandparents and teachers of our company. These often play a decisive role in the career choice process of young people and are therefore important multipliers.
