Sustainability and environmental protection are central to our corporate philosophy. We are dedicated to the protection of nature to make a positive contribution for future generations. Our measures to do so: emphasizing the use of renewable energy, waste reduction, recycling and the responsible use of resources. Our comprehensive environmental and energy management systems are certified according to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards.

One of our key pillars in achieving carbon-neutral production is the use of solar energy. The installation of a PV system across the entire roof area at our site in Sri Lanka is a showcase of our commitment.

In addition, we are globally committed to social justice: In Pforzheim, for example, we support the Youth Research Center. In India, we assist the WORTH TRUST, which provides new opportunities for people with disabilities through rehabilitation and education.

German Sustainability Code
Our sustainability strategy aligns with the 20 criteria of the German Sustainability Code (DNK) to provide a comprehensive perspective and better comparability of our key areas of action.

Paris Climate Agreement
The goal set by the Paris Climate Agreement is to limit global warming to well below two degrees Celsius, ideally 1.5 degrees, compared to pre-industrial levels. We aim to contribute to this goal by reducing our CO2 emissions wherever possible.
