No matter what they call career orientation at your school – you’re in the right place with us. We offer the opportunity to take part in a one-week vocational internship as part of the Realschule and Gymnasium career orientation programs (BORS / BOGY).
Technology sector
We regularly support pupils interested in industry and technology. This is where many pupils get to know the various different metalworking processes for the first time.
Commercial sector
We also offer commercial internships during the school holidays. Would you like a taster? Then just submit an application. Spaces are limited.

Berufswahlkompass Metall
A cooperation with BBQ Pforzheim
The Berufswahlkompass Metall is a career orientation project. It is intended to help pupils in grades 8 and 9 in Realschulen gain some initial insight into potential future careers in the metalworking and metal processing industry.
Objective
By working in close cooperation with eight companies and two Realschulen from the region, the project aims to give pupils more agency over their own career choices and to increase the appeal of a career in the commercial and technical sectors. This is realized through completing in-depth project assignments in small groups and learning about what the various careers involve through practical experience.
Offering
In this context, we regularly offer teams (of three pupils) the chance to find out what the company does behind the scenes. And there is more: on these “hands-on days,” pupils get the opportunity to work on exciting problems and make their own workpieces.
INTERNSHIP WEEK PFORZHEIM
A cooperation with the Employment Agency
The Pforzheim Internship Week gives pupils aged 15 and over the opportunity to gain interesting insights into working life within a week. They learn about different companies and job profiles and are thus supported in their decision for their future. The internship week always takes place during the Whitsun vacation, in July and throughout the summer vacation.
5 professions on 5 days
You don’t know exactly which profession suits you? No problem, then choose us as your company and get to know a different area every day for a week. This way, you can experience first-hand which activities you like best.

Apprenticeship with perspective

The internship week also offers you the opportunity to get to know your preferred training occupation every day in a different participating company. This way, you can find out where you feel comfortable and which company suits you best.

We’ll clear things up!
In addition to career orientation for the pupils, we also offer parents an insight into our company as part of our school partnerships. We also provide information about what is expected of young people in the industry and clear up certain prejudices people often have about technical vocations.
